Stopping off at the gorgeous Station South for drinks and cake. \nGet ready to pedal your way to a day of fun\, fitness\, and family bonding! We invite you and your loved ones to join us on a Family-Friendly Bike Ride to Station South Levensulme via the picturesque Fallowfield Loopline and if weather allows stopping off to see the Secret Lake and Levenshulme Waterfall. \nThis event is designed for families\, so bring the whole crew from littlest backseat riders to great grandparents. Oh and if you are doing the Manchester Marathon on 14th April\, this is a perfect ride to keep your legs moving 😊 \nThe Route: is perfect for riders of all skill levels\, and is mostly on quiet cycle paths. \nThe Views: we will be experiencing the green beauty of Nelstrop Lane and onto the Fallowfield Loopline loop line. After coffee and a cake at Station South we will continue west along the Floop turning off to enjoy Cringle Park on our way home. Yes we will definitely have time for playing in the park. \nBring: Please bring a roadworthy bike\, a drink and money for the coffee and cake. \nWeather: Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. DESCRIPTION:Join members of the SLH team who help to lead this great event from Manchester Friends of the Earth. \nBike Friday is exactly what it says on the tin: A bike ride on the last Friday of every month. We set off from Heaton Chapel train station at 7.45am and lead on a route heading into Manchester City Centre. \nThe ride is on quiet routes and are suitable for everyone — from the regular commuter\, to the first timer wanting to try a new way of getting into work.
