SLH Social Walk and Picnic

The SLH monthly meeting in August is cancelled but we are getting together for a social event instead. We will be going on a short local walk followed by a picnic on Heaton Mersey Common. All SLH supporters, their families, friends (and dogs!) are welcome to join us for any part of the event.

Meet 3pm at the entrance to Heaton Mersey Common at the junction of Priestnall Road and Heaton Mersey Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport SK4 3DJ. This is by the post box inserted into the wall and the plaque to Hans Reynald. It can also be reached by walking along the footpath that links Trentham Avenue (SK4 3QD) and Mersey Road. If you need to drive, there is parking along both Priestnall and Mersey Roads.

The picnic will be from 4pm on the large grassy area on the Common near the meeting place. Bring snacks to share, and something to drink. If the weather is inclement, we will find a local place indoors instead. Phone 07854 898 418 if you need information on the day.
